Department of Fundamental Disciplines and Clinical Prevention

The Department of Fundamental Disciplines and Clinical Prevention (DFPC) was established with the application of the National Education Law no. 1/2011 by subsuming the disciplines from the former Departments of Functional Discipline, Morphological Discipline and, partially, the clinical discipline.The department has 44 members: 6 professors, 6 associate professors, 20 lecturers, and 12 assistant lecturers. Seven of the department’s members are doctoral advisors.

The DFPC department coordinates and provides the conditions for high-standard education of three bachelor's programmes (General Nursing, Balneo-physical-kinetic Therapy and Recuperation, and Clinical Laboratory) and a master's programme (Management of Preventive Strategies and Health Policies).

The department coordinates the research activity carried out at the Centre for Fundamental Research and Preventive Strategies in Medicine.
